12.30pm on Wednesday 29th August 2018 saw the end of an era in Wanborough as Lorna and Naz finally took their long overdue retirement.
They have been running the Village Stores and Post Office for 24 years, expanding the scope of the shop and the opening hours considerably during that time.
They having been hoping to retire for some time, but have kept the shop open as long as they can in the hope that a suitable replacement could be found for the Post Office. However the time has now come for them to take their well deserved retirement.
Thank you for your fantastic service to the village!
